Biography

Comedian Amy Gledhill is known for her mix of everyday observations, confessional stories, and off-beat tangents. Her debut show, The Girl Before The Girl You Marry was nominated for Best Live Show at The National Comedy Awards. She was also nominated for Best Newcomer and Best Show at The Edinburgh Fringe, the first time anyone has attained that accolade in the same year. Her most recent show, Make Me Look Fit on the Poster, won Best Comedy Show at the Edinburgh Fringe Comedy Awards.

Amy has appeared The Jonathan Ross Show, Pointless Celebrities, Richard Ayoade's Question Team, Hypothetical, and Would I Lie to You? She has performed on The Stand Up Sketch Show, Late Night Mash, and Harry Hill’s Clubnite.

Alongside Isy Suttie, Amy hosted the BBC’s official companion podcast to Happy Valley, Obsessed With…Happy Valley and has been a guest on Off Menu with James Acaster and Ed Gamble.
