Book a Business Speaker

The Financial Times has described JLA as “The UK’s leading speaker bureau.” We provide business speakers, presenters and performers for over 2,500 events each year across the globe.

We work with business and thought leaders, major economists, tech pioneers, entrepreneurs and motivators. We host regular breakfasts to introduce the latest names; and we publish The Index, Europe’s only speaker directory for conferences, conventions and awards ceremonies. But most of all JLA has the biggest and brightest team of specialists to advise you at every stage of the booking.

The best business speakers turn a dry conference into a talking point. They inform, inspire and ‘disrupt’ audiences – whether they’re shining a light on the pace of AI, the challenges and opportunities in sectors old and new, the shift of power from West to East, the cost of Brexit, reputational risks, changing demographics or the value of a diverse and healthy workforce. (The same principles apply for less lofty speech topics like customer service.)

So how do you find the right business speaker, how much should you expect to pay and why should you talk to JLA?

Firstly think about the message you want to convey and how delegates are likely to respond. Is the speaker’s name on the invitation one of the main reasons for attending? Is the audience already well informed and looking for detail, or would a broad overview be more appropriate? Are they excited about the future? Are they prepared?

Business speakers command fees between £3,000 and £30,000, or more if you’re looking for an internationally renowned name. If the purpose is to fill an arena or attract a senior C-level audience it may make sense to allocate a six-figure budget; but there’s no direct correlation between the fame of the speaker and the quality of the speech! If there’s no need for celebrity you’ll find some of the most compelling communicators at the other end of the fee spectrum.

At JLA we listen to your brief. We share feedback, make suggestions, challenge assumptions (in a friendly way), and put our experience at your disposal. With a team of 35 and a market leading reputation, we’re here to add value and help you create a memorable event.
