Kevin Connelly

Fee Band

Kevin began to entertain guests with impromptu impressions while managing his brother-in-law’s hotel in Thirsk. This led to a booking at Yorkshire County Cricket Club, and eventually to a role on BBC’s Dead Ringers and a host of sports shows. He remains a wonderful mimic.

Biography

Kevin Connelly is one of the stars of BBC’s Dead Ringers.

Whilst managing his brother-in-law’s hotel near Thirsk, Kevin would entertain customers with impromptu impressions. As a result, he was invited to speak at the Yorkshire Cricket Club dinner. Engagements followed thick and fast, and Kevin eventually decided to abandon catering and become a professional entertainer.

Aside from Dead Ringers, Kevin’s many television credits include Sports Review of the Year, It’s Just Not Cricket with Rory Bremner, and The Full Motty. He was also the resident comedian on ITV’s Sports Show, providing instant celebrity comment on the week’s sporting disasters.

Kevin’s impressions are not limited to sporting personalities. His after dinner repertoire includes a host of politicians and TV stars.
