Ben leads one of the UK’s principal market research organisations. As well as numerous corporate briefs he has polled for major political parties, government departments and local authorities. He also serves on the advisory board of the Social Market Foundation and The King’s Fund. After the referendum Ben tells us exactly what we’re thinking about anything from spending cuts to whether or not we want Britain to have another vote on EU membership.


Biography

Ben Page is Chief Executive of Ipsos MORI.

Joining MORI straight after graduating Ben became one of the leaders of its first management buyout. Originally working with private sector clients on corporate reputation and consumer research, Ben worked closely with companies including Shell, BAE Systems, Sky TV and IBM. He then switched to the public sector working for both Conservative and Labour ministers and senior policy makers across government, leading on work for Downing Street, the Cabinet Office, the Home Office and the Department of Health, as well as a wide range of local authorities and NHS Trusts.

Since then Ben has been named one of the 100 most influential people in the public sector by the Guardian, and one of the 50 most influential by both Local Government Chronicle and the Health Service Journal. He has served on a wide range of independent commissions and reviews and is currently a member of the advisory boards of the Kings Fund, Institute of Public Policy Research, and the Social Market Foundation.

Ben is a frequent writer and speaker on brand perception, leadership and performance management in both the public and private sector. He has directed hundreds of surveys examining service delivery, customer care, reputation and communications and has an insight into national and local government as it affects individuals, companies and national policy.

We were joined by four fantastic speakers to look ahead at International Women’s Day. With the theme of this year’s event being #InspireInclusion, we were lucky enough to hear from four women who have each blazed a trail in their respective fields: CEO of Channel 4, Alex Mahon; the former Australian Prime Minister and Chair of Kings’ Global Institute of Women’s Leadership, Julia Gillard; one of the leading voices in football, Eniola Aluko MBE; and broadcaster and journalist, Samira Ahmed.
