Biography for Liz Earle

Liz Earle is an entrepreneur specialising in beauty and wellbeing. After launching, building and eventually selling the global cosmetics brand that bears her name, she founded a range of businesses spanning media to Fairtrade jewellery.

Starting out as a beauty journalist, Liz co-founded Liz Earle Naturally Active Skincare, which became the Liz Earle Beauty Co, which she led for 15 years before selling the business to Avon. She remained involved in the company for another seven years, including after its sale to Walgreens Boots Alliance, after which she left to start Liz Earle Wellbeing. The new company brings together a magazine, podcast and an online shop, as well as the Fair and Fine jewellery range. Liz is also the author of over 35 books spanning beauty and skincare to guides around healthy living and nutrition, gut health and menopause.

Liz explores both her business journey and the importance of wellbeing personally and professionally. She reflects on combining business with values, as well as examining key elements of wellbeing at home and at work, and especially women’s health.

The co-founder of the Guild of Health Writers and The Food Labelling Agenda (FLAG), Liz also established the charity LiveTwice which seeks to give access to skills, education and support to those that may have missed out the first time around. Liz is also a regular on TV, from This Morning (a show she’s regularly appeared on over the last three decades) to Countryfile, and her own shows, Liz Earle’s Lifestyle and Who Wants to Live Forever?
