DUKE combine live vocals, beatboxing, harmonies and guitar - mixing hip-hop, R&B and dance influences to create astounding cover versions of pop favourites. On tour they have supported Prince, Kanye West, and Amy Winehouse.


Biography

DUKE are an unusual fusion of live vocals, beatboxing, harmonies and guitar. They have amazed audiences around the world with their vocal dexterity, original compositions and astounding cover versions.

A live phenomenon fusing hip-hop, R&B and dance, DUKE deliver covers of pop classics in an acoustic style all their own. Prince personally requested that the trio support him on his UK tour at the 02. They have also shared a stage with Amy Winehouse, The Feeling, Ndubz, Wretch 32, Kanye West, and John Legend.

DUKE have performed at festivals across Europe and even at England football matches. The trio have won over audiences of all types by redefining what’s possible with three microphones and a guitar.

We were joined by four fantastic speakers to look ahead at International Women’s Day. With the theme of this year’s event being #InspireInclusion, we were lucky enough to hear from four women who have each blazed a trail in their respective fields: CEO of Channel 4, Alex Mahon; the former Australian Prime Minister and Chair of Kings’ Global Institute of Women’s Leadership, Julia Gillard; one of the leading voices in football, Eniola Aluko MBE; and broadcaster and journalist, Samira Ahmed.
