London Contemporary Voices (LCV)

Fee Band

One of the most versatile and diverse choirs around, LCV perform new arrangements of favourites from almost any genre from classical to pop, gospel to folk. They can perform a cappella or with a whole range of musicians.

London Contemporary Voices (LCV) are London's leading alternative choir. They have performed with some of the biggest artists in the world at venues and festivals around the UK.

Amongst a wealth of performance and recording credits LCV have performed with artists including Sam Smith, Alt-J, Basement Jaxx, Joss Stone, Nitin Sawhney, and Newton Faulkner. They have performed at the O2, the iTunes Festival and at the Royal Albert Hall and have appeared on Radio 1, E4, and Later with Jools Holland. Their breadth and versatility is further demonstrated by their work on both the orchestral version of Laura Mvula's album Sing to the Moon, and on Andy Burrows' theme tune to The Snowman and The Snowdog, Light The Night.

As well as performing modern arrangements of almost any genre from pop to classical, gospel to folk, LCV can also provide either an a cappella performance or be accompanied by a range of musicians from soloists to full bands to string quartets, beatboxers and orchestras. The choir can be anything from a small group of eight to 75 performers covering artists from Elvis to Vampire Weekend, David Guetta to Sam Smith, and can produce specific requests and arrangements.

In the corporate world LCV have performed at events for companies including Land Rover, Burberry, Sassoon, Fortnum & Mason, Alix Partners, Liberty, and Selfridges.

Looking Ahead to International Women’s Day

Samira Ahmed, Eniola Aluko, and Alex Mahon

We were joined by four fantastic speakers to look ahead at International Women’s Day. With the theme of this year’s event being #InspireInclusion, we were lucky enough to hear from four women who have each blazed a trail in their respective fields: CEO of Channel 4, Alex Mahon; the former Australian Prime Minister and Chair of Kings’ Global Institute of Women’s Leadership, Julia Gillard; one of the leading voices in football, Eniola Aluko MBE; and broadcaster and journalist, Samira Ahmed.
