From his viral video hit Downstairs at Downton where he skilfully and affectionately mocked many of the period drama’s most popular characters, to regular appearances in Murder in Successville and uncanny impressions of Bear Grylls, Arsene Wenger and Jeremy Kyle, Luke has made a name for himself with contemporary impressions and engaging performances.
Luke Kempner is a comedian, impressionist and actor.
Early in his comedy career Luke found success with his viral video hit Downstairs and Downton, parodying the ITV period drama phenomenon and mimicking many of its most popular characters. Away from the live stage, Luke has starred in the cult BBC Three hit Murder in Successville where he’s appeared as Bear Grylls, Arsène Wenger and Jeremy Kyle. He’s also appeared on The Tracey Ullman Show, Episodes, and Drunk History, and on Radio 4’s The Now Show and News Jack. He was also the regular comedian on Channel 5’s Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side.
