Pete Heat

Fee Band

Pete's modern style of magic has made him one of the busiest and most sought-after magicians in the UK, working at all manner of events. He’s performed for David Beckham, Rita Ora, and Mumford and Sons, and taught Jude Law sleight of hand for the film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Dubbed “the rock ’n’ roll magician” by the NME, Pete makes his living by making famous people scream. Highly sought after for celebrity parties and the world’s most exclusive member’s clubs (he’s the resident magician at the Groucho Club and Soho House), Pete is not like other magicians.

A professional event-improver, and the world’s best dinner party guest, Pete creates a buzz wherever he goes, whether it’s at Elle Macpherson’s house, Wayne Rooney’s birthday party, the NME awards afterparty, or backstage at the O2 with the biggest bands in the world.

In the last few years, Pete has been on TV constantly, with spots on almost every major channel in the UK, as well as various shows on digital platforms worldwide. His ten-part series Around the World In 80 Tricks, showcased his unique style of street magic to audiences around the globe. In Secrets of the Brain, he blended magic with psychology and neuroscience in two ten-part series of a hit show that illustrates the incredible inner workings of the brain. In School of Hard Tricks, he taught a group of disadvantaged teens how to use magic as a creative outlet, and as a way to find focus and have confidence in their abilities.

He has also appeared as a presenter in When Magic Goes Horribly Wrong, as a magic expert in Full Steam Ahead, and when he went undercover to scam famous football players in hidden camera show Player Pranks. When he’s not in front of the camera, Pete is behind the scenes, creating tricks for other magicians on shows from Britain’s Got Talent, to Tricked.

After meeting Jude Law at an event, Pete was hired to act as his personal sleight of hand coach for the film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Jude then raved about Pete on the Graham Norton show, resulting in an unprecedented wave of bookings.

Pete has performed for hundreds of celebrities, including Benedict Cumberbatch, Emma Thompson, Cara Delevingne, David Beckham, Princess Beatrice, Idris Elba, Kit Harington, Gillian Anderson, Dawn French, and Carey Mulligan, as well as a huge number of bands and musicians, including Mumford and Sons, Sam Smith, Blink 182, Rita Ora, and Bastille.

Pete was hired by the Saracens rugby team to coach them on principle of magic and misdirection ahead of a big game. They won.

He has done all of this while writing and performing in four full length stand-up comedy magic shows, which he has taken on tour, and to the Edinburgh Fringe, all to critical acclaim and sold-out audiences.
