Piff the Magic Dragon

Fee Band

Looking like Jack Dee in a dragon suit, Piff has sold out the Sydney Opera House, played a residency in Vegas and reached the final of America’s Got Talent. He appears with Mr Piffles, the world’s first magical chihuahua.

Looking like Jack Dee in a dragon suit and performing jaw-dropping tricks, Piff the Magic Dragon was the stand-out star of ITV’s Penn & Teller Show, racking up 3.5 million YouTube views. That was before he went to the US, stunned the America’s Got Talent audience, went on to play Las Vegas, Radio City Music Hall, the O2, and Sydney Opera House, and increased the YouTube views to over 40million.

Piff’s combination of dry, deadpan delivery and impressive, close hand illusions (and the cheap-looking costume) give an impression of an old-fashioned children’s entertainer beaten down by life. He’s very different, hugely entertaining and well on his way to stardom.

Piff has appeared in the West End with La Soiree, performed in cabaret with Stephen Merchant, and broken Edinburgh records for the highest box office takings in a single night. He supported Mumford & Sons on tour, and has worked with Heston Blumenthal at his Fat Duck restaurant.

Piff takes the stage with his co-star Mr Piffles. For the record, Mr Piffles is the world’s first ever magician chihuahua, and he happily survived the canon routine. His master maintains that none of the tricks go wrong – they just have different endings.

Looking Ahead to International Women’s Day

Samira Ahmed, Eniola Aluko, and Alex Mahon

We were joined by four fantastic speakers to look ahead at International Women’s Day. With the theme of this year’s event being #InspireInclusion, we were lucky enough to hear from four women who have each blazed a trail in their respective fields: CEO of Channel 4, Alex Mahon; the former Australian Prime Minister and Chair of Kings’ Global Institute of Women’s Leadership, Julia Gillard; one of the leading voices in football, Eniola Aluko MBE; and broadcaster and journalist, Samira Ahmed.
