After finding fame on CBBC, Angellica has gone on to be The One Show’s longest serving reporter, travelling the country and talking to people about a range of issues from the local to the international, the political to the cultural. She’s also fronted How Safe is Your House, Holiday Hit Squad, and The Great British Village Show.

Angellica Bell is a Bafta-nominated TV presenter who started out on CBBC before moving on to primetime entertainment and lifestyle programmes. She is now one of The One Show’s longest serving reporters.

A gifted cellist and pianist, she also co-hosted the Radio 3 children’s music show Making Tracks.

After CBBC Angellica joined The One Show, bringing her friendly, engaging and intelligent style to reports around the country on everything from children’s books to community protests to James Bond, as well as acting as co-host on the programme.

In addition to the hugely popular magazine show Angellica has fronted BBC programmes including How Safe is Your House, Holiday Hit Squad, Departure Lounge, and The Great British Village Show alongside Alan Titchmarsh and James Martin. Looking Ahead to International Women’s Day

Samira Ahmed, Eniola Aluko, and Alex Mahon

We were joined by four fantastic speakers to look ahead at International Women’s Day. With the theme of this year’s event being #InspireInclusion, we were lucky enough to hear from four women who have each blazed a trail in their respective fields: CEO of Channel 4, Alex Mahon; the former Australian Prime Minister and Chair of Kings’ Global Institute of Women’s Leadership, Julia Gillard; one of the leading voices in football, Eniola Aluko MBE; and broadcaster and journalist, Samira Ahmed.
