Biography for Charlotte Hawkins

Charlotte is one of the presenters of ITV’s Good Morning Britain having previously co-hosted Sky News’s Sunrise alongside Eamonn Holmes. Charlotte is part of the presenting team for ITV Racing on major race days and is one of the presenters on Classic FM.

Starting off as a young reporter for LBC radio, Charlotte then moved to becoming a regional broadcaster for the South East, to a regional presenter. At Sky, she hosted her own daily show and anchored Sunrise live at the Olympics and the Royal Wedding. Alongside her duties on ITV and Sky breakfast shows, Charlotte has also anchored Five News and appeared as a guest news reviewer on This Morning. With an interest in classical music, she has also presented a documentary for Sky Arts on the violinist and conductor, Andre Rieu.

Furthermore Charlotte has a range TV credits including Celebrity Juice, Britain’s Got More Talent, Pointless and was a contestant in the fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing. She has written for The Sunday Telegraph, The Mail on Sunday, The Independent on Sunday, and Condé Nast Traveler Magazine.

We were joined by four fantastic speakers to look ahead at International Women’s Day. With the theme of this year’s event being #InspireInclusion, we were lucky enough to hear from four women who have each blazed a trail in their respective fields: CEO of Channel 4, Alex Mahon; the former Australian Prime Minister and Chair of Kings’ Global Institute of Women’s Leadership, Julia Gillard; one of the leading voices in football, Eniola Aluko MBE; and broadcaster and journalist, Samira Ahmed.
