The long-serving sports presenter on Today and one of the funniest speakers on the circuit, Garry's proud of his interview with Clinton at a rain-sodden Wimbledon, but admits to a chequered record as a racing tipster. As well as performing solo, Garry hosts Q&A with the likes of Harry Redknapp.

City & Guilds
As the sports anchor on Radio 4’s Today Programme, over a million people wake up to Garry as he interviews whoever is making the back page headlines. For over a decade he fronted the Sony award-winning Sportsweek on 5 Live, and he also presented Radio 4's Look Away Now, a fast-moving comedy mix of sporting sketches, news and impressions. Garry has also reported from four Olympic Games and over 100 world title fights.
Garry has interviewed a galaxy of stars. In tennis alone, he has recorded features with Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi and Venus Williams. It was Garry who interviewed Bill Clinton on live television, with no time to prepare, when rain once again stopped play at Wimbledon. He had less luck the following year with Anna Kournikova.
A hugely entertaining speaker, whether or not the audience has any interest in sport, Garry weaves topical gags with behind-the-scenes stories - like what happened when Seb Coe arrived late for an important match at Chelsea. He has also toured theatres with the late George Best and Rodney Marsh, and regularly conducts live onstage interviews with sporting legends.
