Jonathan started in local radio before moving to The World At One. He then joined This Week and made a series of films in South America before returning to the BBC to launch On The Record. He also became synonymous with ITV’s general election coverage, anchoring it in 1997, 2001 and 2005.

An acclaimed factual film and documentary maker, Jonathan presented and produced an influential portrait of the private and public life of Prince Charles.
