Keith Duffy

Fee Band

Boyzone member Keith also appeared in Coronation Street and is forging a career on the stage. He is a patron of Irish Autism Action, has been instrumental in the foundation of a series of schools and diagnostic centres in Ireland. He regularly hosts fund-raising events and has a wealth of anecdotes from his time touring the world with the band.

A member of Irish boy-band Boyzone, Keith Duffy has enjoyed two decades of pop success, selling more than twenty-five million records and enjoying six UK Chart number ones. Alone, he is best known for his three-year stint on Coronation Street, and has received critical acclaim for a number of stage roles.

Away from the bright lights of showbusiness, Duffy is a campaigner for autism awareness and is the patron of Irish Autism Action, regularly hosting fundraising events and speaking to a wide variety of audiences. He studied Applied Behaviour Analysis, practised in the US, and was instrumental in setting up a chain of twelve schools for autistic children, using this method.

Duffy has served as a judge on RTE’s talent show You’re a Star, a programme he later presented. He has also appeared as a contestant in Splash! and in Mrs Brown’s Boys D’Movie.

Samira Ahmed, Eniola Aluko, and Alex Mahon

We were joined by four fantastic speakers to look ahead at International Women’s Day. With the theme of this year’s event being #InspireInclusion, we were lucky enough to hear from four women who have each blazed a trail in their respective fields: CEO of Channel 4, Alex Mahon; the former Australian Prime Minister and Chair of Kings’ Global Institute of Women’s Leadership, Julia Gillard; one of the leading voices in football, Eniola Aluko MBE; and broadcaster and journalist, Samira Ahmed.
