Standup, presenter and satirist Nish Kumar has been described as 'the Asian John Oliver'. Aside from his well-spoken politically-inspired routines, he also hosts his own satirical take on the news, BBC2's The Mash Report.
Performing since his university days, Nish has become one of the country’s best-known comedians. He mixes bewilderment and anger, politics and self-deprecation in performances that have been described as “intelligent, inventive, thought-provoking and delivered with passion, urgency and enthusiasm”.
