Rosie's comedy incorporates her experience as a gay woman with a disability. As well as writing on sitcoms and taking on acting roles, she is known for appearing on TV's 8 Out Of 10 CatsThe Last Leg and Comedy Central’s Roast Battle

Rosie’s effusive energy has transformed her from a TV researcher into one of Britain’s original comedy talents. Her cerebral palsy is central to her comedic perspective, making her one of the UK’s most successful comedians to talk about disability in their work from a first-hand point of view.

Rosie’s stage career has since taken in sets at Live At The Apollo, The Jonathan Ross Show, 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Mock The Week, The Last Leg, and Comedy Central UK’s Roast Battle. She also hosts the podcast Daddy Look at Me with fellow comic Helen Bauer.

Her shows Fifteen Minutes and Backward were both sell-out successes at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The Scotsman described one as “both elegantly crafted and mischievous to its bones”.

Rosie has worked and continues to write on sitcoms, lending her wit to Netflix hit Sex Education. In front of the camera, Rosie’s appeared in her primetime debut as Serena Prentice in BBC1’s Silent Witness and starred as Penelope Lawrence in BBC’s Shakespeare & Hathaway.

Looking Ahead to International Women’s Day

Samira Ahmed, Eniola Aluko, and Alex Mahon

We were joined by four fantastic speakers to look ahead at International Women’s Day. With the theme of this year’s event being #InspireInclusion, we were lucky enough to hear from four women who have each blazed a trail in their respective fields: CEO of Channel 4, Alex Mahon; the former Australian Prime Minister and Chair of Kings’ Global Institute of Women’s Leadership, Julia Gillard; one of the leading voices in football, Eniola Aluko MBE; and broadcaster and journalist, Samira Ahmed.
