From his early appearances on The X Factor and Celebrity Big Brother, Rylan has gone on to guest host on This Morning, front his own Radio 2 show and host revived versions of Ready Steady Cook and Supermarket Sweep. He also regularly appears on The One Show and co-presents Strictly: It Takes Two.

Since finishing in fifth place on the ninth series of The X Factor, before then going on to win Celebrity Big Brother 11, Rylan Clark has quickly become a popular presenter, entertainer and TV personality. He is the host of BBC Radio 2’s Saturday afternoon show, co-presenter on Strictly: It Takes Two, and a regular guest on shows from This Morning to Celebrity Juice.

Rylan presented The Xtra Factor and Big Brother’s Bit on the Side before becoming the face of revived versions of 90s favourites Ready Steady Cook and Supermarket Sweep. He’s been a panellist and contestant on Would I Lie To You, Room 101, The Crystal Maze, and Loose Women. He’s also hosted his own chat show, Up Late with Rylan, and has been a regular guest presenter on This Morning. He was nominated for Best Presenter at the Nation Television Awards two years running, and has been listed as Radio Times’ TV Presenter Champion.

In addition to his presenting and television work, Rylan has tried his hand at acting with a cameo in Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, and has a Sunday Times bestselling autobiography to his name with The Life of Rylan. He’s even been the immortalised in the form of a 17th century–style miniature by artist Grayson Perry as part of his study of modern identity through portraiture.

Looking Ahead to International Women’s Day

Samira Ahmed, Eniola Aluko, and Alex Mahon

We were joined by four fantastic speakers to look ahead at International Women’s Day. With the theme of this year’s event being #InspireInclusion, we were lucky enough to hear from four women who have each blazed a trail in their respective fields: CEO of Channel 4, Alex Mahon; the former Australian Prime Minister and Chair of Kings’ Global Institute of Women’s Leadership, Julia Gillard; one of the leading voices in football, Eniola Aluko MBE; and broadcaster and journalist, Samira Ahmed.
