Scott’s routines are drawn from real life experiences with wry observations on the absurdities of modern living. He has written for acts such as Chris Ramsey and Jason Manford, and appeared on BBC One’s Live at the Apollo.


With a warm and engaging delivery, Scott Bennett has established himself as one of the fastest-rising stars on the UK circuit. His shows Leap Year and Relax were nominated for Best Show at the Leicester Comedy Festival, and his debut stand-up show was selected as one of the top ten shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Scott has appeared on BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show and featured on The One Show. During lockdown, he pioneered the viral hit, Stand up from the Shed, a weekly topical live-streamed stand-up show from his garden shed.

On stage, Scott delivers wry observations on the absurdity of modern living in his routines drawn from real-life experiences.

We were joined by four fantastic speakers to look ahead at International Women’s Day. With the theme of this year’s event being #InspireInclusion, we were lucky enough to hear from four women who have each blazed a trail in their respective fields: CEO of Channel 4, Alex Mahon; the former Australian Prime Minister and Chair of Kings’ Global Institute of Women’s Leadership, Julia Gillard; one of the leading voices in football, Eniola Aluko MBE; and broadcaster and journalist, Samira Ahmed.
