The ex-rally champion’s career has taken in stunt driving and Top Gear. She’s also faced her own fears in a boxing ring, run marathons and climbed Kilimanjaro. Penny Mallory is a Performance Coach and former Rally Driver specialising in mental toughness - a philosophy designed to improve resilience, determination, confidence and focus.
Penny first came to prominence as a World Rally Driver, where she was the first woman to compete for Ford. Prior to this, she had a troubled upbringing, including being homeless at fourteen, and a family background of alcoholism and mental illness. In speeches, Penny fuses insights from both of these experiences to reflect on how to triumph over adversity and achieve peak performance as individuals and within teams.
She is also an experienced presenter, having fronted coverage of World Rally Championship, as well as being the author of multiple books. She has continued to push herself to achieve peak performance in many areas, from marathon running to mountain climbing.
