The jazz, soul and gospel singer employs one of the smoothest voices in the business. She’s hosted Soul at the Jazz Café, backed artists like Beverley Knight and performed in Olympic celebrations in Trafalgar Square. Adeola offers a duo or full band format, and a set full of classics.


Adeola Shyllon is a jazz and soul artist, making her name on the London scene. She has 10 years experience as a session singer and backing vocalist for independent and major label recording artists, such as Beverly Knight, Maria Harding and Marsha Ambrosius.

Since August 2007, Adeola has also been a member of The CK Gospel Choir, and 7-piece funk band The Bridge, performing everywhere from functions to festivals. A fresh and inventive songwriter, Adeola creates harmonies and and sings in such a way to keep her in demand with record labels, producers and TV studios.

Her smooth voice is mesmerising, for her soul and jazz set with duo or trio.

Looking Ahead to International Women’s Day

We were joined by four fantastic speakers to look ahead at International Women’s Day. With the theme of this year’s event being #InspireInclusion, we were lucky enough to hear from four women who have each blazed a trail in their respective fields: CEO of Channel 4, Alex Mahon; the former Australian Prime Minister and Chair of Kings’ Global Institute of Women’s Leadership, Julia Gillard; one of the leading voices in football, Eniola Aluko MBE; and broadcaster and journalist, Samira Ahmed.
