The host of Balls of Steel and Show Me the Funny has also covered the mysterious and murky world of advertising in the Mad Bad Ad Show, and the glamour of Hollywood for Sky.

Biography

Mark Dolan is a comedian, writer and presenter who made his name in the hidden camera series, The Richard Taylor Interviews, in which he subjected job applicants to horrendous, embarrassing interviews. He has since gone on to host Channel 4’s competitive comic look at advertising The Mad Bad Ad Show, and with more pranks and hidden cameras on Balls of Steel.

Mark’s comedy career started when he made it to the finals of the esteemed new act competition So You Think You’re Funny. Alongside his TV career Mark continues to tour the live circuit and is a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe with his cheeky look at what makes him, and everyone, cringe with embarrassment.

On television, Mark has fronted More 4’s topical debate show The Last Word and Sky One's film review show Popcorn. He is probably best known for hosting Channel 4's modern take on the TV classic Candid Camera, Balls of Steel. Mark also found success with the documentary series The World's ... and Me, where he met the smallest, tallest, cleverest and hairiest people in the world, as well as The Mad Bad Ad Show.

Mark’s other TV credits include Show Me The Funny, Urban Legends and Sky Movies' weekly film-news 35mm and its interview show Face 2 Face, where he’s interviewed many of the world's biggest movie stars.
