DL has residencies in London and Leeds. When he isn’t producing or teaching he performs all around the world. From breakbeat and dance through hip hop, soul and the classics, the set contains something for everyone.


Both as a DJ and producer, DL has been making and playing music since his early teens. A sound engineer by day (from Ronnie Wood’s Sony Gold Award-winning show to live broadcasts of Gardeners’ Question Time), he has monthly residencies in London and Leeds and was part of the team that broadcast the Brit Awards across Europe.

DL is a member of the REDS collective, often featuring live on BBC 6 Music and the Asian Network. He plays around the UK and Europe, and has toured extensively in India with BASSFoundation.

First and foremost a drum&bass DJ, DL has an extensive set list. From breakbeat and dance through commercial hip hop, soul and the classics... it contains something for everyone.

Over the hour our panellists de-mystified AI, speaking about AI’s immense promise for enhancing our lives, alongside the apprehension it has generated regarding job security, privacy infringement, and ethical considerations.

Looking Ahead to International Women’s Day

We were joined by four fantastic speakers to look ahead at International Women’s Day. With the theme of this year’s event being #InspireInclusion, we were lucky enough to hear from four women who have each blazed a trail in their respective fields: CEO of Channel 4, Alex Mahon; the former Australian Prime Minister and Chair of Kings’ Global Institute of Women’s Leadership, Julia Gillard; one of the leading voices in football, Eniola Aluko MBE; and broadcaster and journalist, Samira Ahmed.
