Jill was the first female presenter of Rugby Special. She’s since added the Tour de France, becoming the voice of Britain’s biggest growth sport.


Biography

Jill Douglas fronts rugby and cycling coverage on ITV and BT Sport, having previously covered the sports for the BBC.

Starting out in newspapers before becoming a reporter and presenter for Scotland’s Border Television, Jill was then chosen as the BBC’s first female presenter of Rugby Special. She then moved to Sky where her brief was extended to athletics. She returned to the BBC, continuing to present rugby and also cycling, now one of the nation’s most popular sports, and the London 2012 Olympics. She also became a regular on 5 Live’s Fighting Talk.
