Scott made his name on the Radio 1 as an engaging, friendly host. After twenty-four years there he moved to Radio 2. Away from radio he has appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, Eurovision, and commentated for HRH Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee.

After twenty-four years, Scott Mills left BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 5 Live to join BBC Radio 2. Scott worked his way through the traditional radio route of local broadcasters, then onto commercial radio, and finally the so-called ‘graveyard’ slot at Radio 1. After regularly standing in for other hosts such as Sara Cox and Chris Moyles, Scott was finally given the prestigious drive-time slot. The show became a huge hit with its mix of guests, contributions from the production and news team, and f created some of the most popular radio features ever, from Flirt Divert, Playground Insults, Rate my Listener, and the world-famous Innuendo Bingo.
On his podcast Pupdates Scott and dog training guru, Steve Mann answer puppy related questions. He has also fronted the hugely successful Official Strictly podcast and Eurovision Calling for BBC Sounds.
Scott hosts the Eurovision semi-finals for BBC4. He has also hosted The National Lottery and Points of View, appeared Robot Wars, and made ground-breaking documentaries including the World's Worst Place to be Gay.
A former Strictly Come Dancing contestant, over six weeks, Scott did the foxtrot, the tango, the samba, and dressed as a crab.
Scott was an official ambassador for Team GB, showing his support for British athletes during the 2016 Rio Olympics. He is also a patron for the MS Society, Neuroblastoma UK and had trekked across Kenya's Kaizut desert for Comic Relief.
